Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Bloom ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you are at least 16 years of age.

Description of Service

Bloom is a mental health companion mobile application that provides mood tracking, therapeutic exercises, calming stories, and positive daily thoughts. The Service is designed to support your mental wellbeing but is not a substitute for professional mental health treatment.

User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms or engage in any behaviour that we consider harmful to the Service or other users.

Subscription and Payments

Subscription Terms

• Bloom offers a monthly subscription at £3 GBP per month
• New users receive a 7-day free trial before the first payment
• Subscriptions automatically renew each month unless cancelled
• Prices may be subject to change with reasonable notice

Cancellation Policy

• You may cancel your subscription at any time
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
• You will retain access to the Service until the end of your paid period
• Cancellation can be done through your app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store) subscription settings

Refund Policy

Subscription payments are generally non-refundable. However, if you believe you are entitled to a refund due to technical issues or other valid reasons, please contact us at admin@bloom-app.co.uk, and we will consider your request on a case-by-case basis.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service
• Copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission
• Use the Service for any commercial purpose without our written consent

Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Bloom and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used without our prior written permission.

User Content

Any content you create within the Service (such as mood check-in notes) remains your property. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to store and process this content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bloom and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

• Your use or inability to use the Service
• Any unauthorised access to or use of our servers
• Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Service
• Any bugs, viruses, or similar issues transmitted through the Service

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. By continuing to access or use the Service after revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
